Woven Bag, Made from a mock leno structured weaving that was that incased in disperse dyed vinyl, 14in x 8in (body of the bag), 2018. This bag was a study of trying to allow open/leno weave structures to be hardened and incased. The bag takes on the quality of being a vinyl bag sold in the New Jersey/ New York area at a bodega yet, the process this bag made in was very intensive.

Weaving, Cotton Chenille, Cotton industrial yarn, and Pearl Cotton Yarn, 3ft by 6ft, 2017 I was interested in making a handmade beach towel, which is a strange concept. When making this piece of cloth, I adapted the methods of making terry cloth to make my own version of a towel. 

Woven Bag, 22" x 14", Linen Yarn, 2017 I was interested in recreating cheap bags sold in tropical countries for vacationers, in a much more labor-intensive way. 

Weaving, Pearl Cotton Yarn, Cotton Chenille 3ft x 7ft, 2017 Based on textiles that I imagine my grandmother from Cuba would have worn. The shapes of the clothing she would wear would be unflattering yet, the patterns were very pretty.
